Medicaid portal freeze sparks nationwide confusion with users in all 50 states locked out of accounts

The worldwide outage of the benefits system has placed Medicaid enrollees in a state of desperation.

President Donald Trump promised not to alter the government program, which prompted the outage.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s inaugural conference on Tuesday was marred by reports of the outage.

Leavitt, the youngest secretary in history, said that people should be safeguarded as reporters in the briefing room yelled at her for answers.

“Social Security, Medicare, food stamps, student loans, and scholarships are safe under Trump’s funding freeze,” Leavitt stated.

Medicaid funds are trickling down to recipients, but state agencies seemed to be having trouble accessing them.

The White House announced earlier today that government loans and grants would be suspended as Trump’s administration looks for areas where it can cut.

Trump claims that initiatives like diversity, education, and inclusion are a waste of money, and the cabinet wants to cut them.
