Meghan Markle posts new vid opening T-shirts donated from Billie Eilish for mum whose home devastated in LA wildfires

In a recent video, Meghan Markle opens T-shirts that Billie Eilish gave for a family whose home was destroyed in the flames in Los Angeles.

In addition to burning across more than 60 square miles of land, the fires have destroyed 12,000 houses and other structures and claimed 25 lives.

Meghan mentioned contacting a mother and her 15-year-old daughter who were impacted by the blazing flames in Los Angeles in the Instagram post.

After the teen’s beloved Billy Eilisht jersey was turned to ash in the tragedy, the Duchess of Sussex regrettably disclosed that it was severely missing.

“And so I said, well, I don’t know, Billie Eilish,” the 43-year-old remarked. I’ll find a way to obtain this shirt for you.

“So I thought of everybody that I knew, and I made a voice note and I was like, please, can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish.”

Meghan went on to say that she had been able to get the pop artist to autograph some goods for the child.

Meghan displayed the merchandise, which included a stack of t-shirts and clothes, with obvious excitement.

She also pointed to what she called a “lunch-box” and joked that she “felt really old” for not being able to identify it.

Meghan claimed to have met the family when in Atladena with Prince Harry in the endearing social media video.

“All the homes were left inashes” was the community the two were visiting.

The Duchess expressed gratitude to everyone who “showed up in big and small ways” to assist the California disaster victims.

“Thank you so much, Billie Eilish; this will mean so much to her,” she continued.

“Honestly to Adam Levine and Bahati, you guys helped get this over the line.”

“Just a huge thank you. I’m going to send her mother an email right now. I just wanted to let you all know about that.

“Let’s continue to support those affected by the California wildfires,” she said as the caption for her image.

“Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, but especially to our first responders, who are the true heroes of the town.

“As ever, Meghan.”

It is estimated that the January 2025 flames in Los Angeles will have cost more than $135 billion (109.7 billion).

It follows Meghan’s assistance last month when she was seen bringing in bags of donations at a wildfire relief center in Los Angeles.

Altadena Girls, a nonprofit that supports victims of fires in Los Angeles, posted a brief video featuring the Duchess.

The mother of two arrived wearing a casual black outfit and a Los Angeles cap, and she was loaded down with bags of supplies.
