Men would rather end their relationship than talk about sexual dysfunction

It’s common to feel nervous or ashamed while talking about sexual problems.

However, according to a recent study, one in five men would prefer to break up with their partner than discuss problems like erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, or libido loss.

One in four males have had similar problems, according to the 8,000-person survey.

Relationships have also been impacted; one in four victims say it has made them feel melancholy, and 21% prefer to end a relationship rather than talk about it.

guys between the ages of 25 and 34 are the most likely to break up with their partner (33 percent), followed by Gen Z guys (32 percent).

Almost one in five (18%) felt bad about it, and 15% said that it caused them to argue with their partner.

It’s concerning to note that almost one-third of males with sexual dysfunction acknowledged using the dark web or internet to purchase remedies in order to avoid shame or criticism.

Men’s sexual dysfunction is currently a silent issue, which is not surprising, according to Dr. James Stevenson, head practitioner at Bupa Health Clinics.

Men are reluctant to speak up when they have health problems, particularly related to their sexual function, because of outdated ideas about how they should behave.

Consequently, it is affecting not just their physical health but also their mental health.

We need to do more to support guys in talking to others about their struggles and asking for assistance when necessary.

What are the physical causes of erectile dysfunction?
