(FOX 2) BLOOMFIELD TWP, Mich.According to officials, auto theft and larceny are on the rise not only in Bloomfield Township but throughout Metro Detroit, so police are advising drivers to lock their cars.

According to Heather Glowacz of the Bloomfield Township Police, “the clear message is you need to lock your car and take your valuables out,” “In October, we had no stolen vehicles and only three cars that were gone into.”
