Metro Detroit weather: Another cold day before snow arrives to end the week

Thursday is still going to be chilly, but at least the sun will show up to help with the discomfort.

DETROIT (FOX 2):This morning, it’s going to be cold, but the sun will make us feel better.

Our Friday snowmaker, which begins in the afternoon and ends at night, is what we’re waiting on.

Snow totals of 1-2″ are to be expected; nothing significant, but noteworthy considering that we have only seen 4″ since December 1.

With another risk of snow late Sunday into Monday, Saturday and Sunday appear to be rather dry. Temperatures remain cold in the interim, with no significant warming anticipated.
