Metro Detroit weather: Up to an inch of snow possible Thursday
When I woke up, the wind chill was in the single digits once more. While the morning snow tapers off after falling up to an inch, the cold remains.
DETROIT (FOX 2): This Thursday’s themes are chilly and snow.
The day will begin with more snow and chilly, with lows in the single digits. This afternoon, we’ll aim for freezing temperatures—not warm, but better than where we’ve been and definitely better than where we’re going.
This morning, flakes are flying. This afternoon, snow totals of up to an inch will decrease.
There is only a flurry on Friday, and the pleasant weather persists until Saturday AM when a combination of rain and snow sweeps in. Although totals will only be about an inch, icy conditions could result from Saturday afternoon’s cooling temperatures.
On Sunday, the cold gets colder, and it gets colder early next week. Wind chills could drop 10 to 20 degrees below zero, making the already biting temperatures feel even more harsh.
