Michael Strahan interrupts Rob Gronkowski and Fox NFL Sunday cut to commercial break mid New England Patriots rant
The firing of head coach Jerod Mayo by the New England Patriots appears to have infuriated ROB Gronkowski.
Mayo was fired from the Patriots after just one season as their coach.
Just hours after the Patriots’ season concluded, Gronk was “shocked” to learn that Mayo had been fired.
During Fox NFL Sunday, he expressed his emotions over Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s choice.

That took us all by surprise. Coach Jerod Mayo was treated unfairly, in my opinion. He never had the opportunity to grow as a head coach, after all. In that regard, he himself was a novice.
It’s really inappropriate to evaluate a coach based solely on their first season.

Michael Strahane eventually had to interrupt Gronk and halt the show before he could say anything further because he was so furious that his hands appeared to be shaking on live television.
Having been colleagues with the Patriots for six seasons, Mayo and Gronk appear to have a close bond.
Gronk’s anger may have been sparked by their lengthy relationship, but he managed to gather himself and provide a more composed portion later in the evening.
When Gronkowski replied, “I was surprised by that,”

“The situation in New England is difficult. It’s clear that Mr. Kraft didn’t think Jerod Mayo would be the culture builder he had hoped for during the previous season.
Additionally, Mr. Kraft clearly has a strategy for the future. Most likely aiming to acquire Mike Vrabel.

Gronk’s fury startled NFL fans, who took to social media to express their feelings about his impassioned outburst.
