Miramar Men Sentenced to Federal Prison for Armed Robbery of Postal Carriers
Christopher Raymond and Andre Hylton, both 20 and from Miramar, have been sentenced to federal prison for their involvement in the armed robbery of two postal carriers in September 2023. U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday announced that Raymond will serve nine years, while Hylton has been sentenced to eight years.
The incident occurred on September 21, 2023, when Raymond and Hylton traveled to Tampa in a rental car. They targeted two postal carriers, stealing serialized USPS keys from both, with one of the robberies involving a firearm. The duo was apprehended the following day.
