Missing Hannah Kobayashi’s family says ‘cops didn’t question them for 10 days and she was paranoid before disappearance’

I’m missing After Hannah Kobayashi, 30, disappeared after missing a connecting trip to New York, her family says authorities didn’t take them seriously for ten days.

Volunteers joined Kobayashi’s loved ones at a rally in Los Angeles on Thursday night after they flew from Hawaii to assist in their search for her.

The family has reportedly been informed by police that she was last seen boarding a train at Pico station Downtown, barely hours after she became “paranoid” that her identity had been stolen.

The LAPD has now confirmed to The U.S. Sun that they are looking into her disappearance, adding to the unusual case’s ongoing development.

Given that she reportedly doesn’t know anyone in the city and that her phone hasn’t been on since November 11, relatives are worried that she may have been trafficked or abducted.

According to The U.S. Sun, Kobayashi’s aunt Larie Pidgeon, who assisted in planning the protest, said her mother Brandi is still in Hawaii and is “not doing well,” while her father Ryan took a plane to Los Angeles to assist in the hunt for her.

FEARS RISE

“This area at night is very nefarious and scary, so that’s why the family is so alarmed and concerned,” she remarked, standing near the station. That was eleven days ago.

“She was spotted with an unknown individual. In order to get it out there, I’m hoping the cops will release it.

“It’s concerning since Hannah was traveling alone and neither she nor her family know anyone in Los Angeles.

We were interrogated; eleven days later, my sister, who had spoken to her last, was interrogated today.

TRAFFICKING FEARS

Therefore, I believe that they understand that until they take this seriously, we won’t be leaving.

According to the authorities, a sequence of events must have occurred; she must be ill, elderly, or young, but why?

We are the family, and we are aware of every detail, despite their claims that she was merely trying to escape them and wanted to remain in Los Angeles.

She claimed that her niece had secured her first photography job at a concert and had spent $2,000 on a hotel stay in New York.

Along with meeting up with family, she had meticulously planned the vacation.

On November 8, after missing her connecting flight, she started sending odd texts to her friends and family, claiming that she was afraid and that someone was attempting to steal her money.

“It’s not that I have anything against the LAPD; I just want them to hear us; I want them to listen to our voices that this is not like her,” stated Pidgeon.

Our family is tight when you don’t hear from someone for 11 days and I personally speak with her for two hours every other day. What do you think?

“You don’t think she’s on vacation; she’s having a blast while cruising around Los Angeles.

“You’re going to words like trafficking, you re going to words like abduction, really bad things.”

When Kobayashi landed in New York, she was scheduled to meet with her aunt Geordan Montalvo and her husband Bob. Since her aunt was the last to contact with her, they have now spoken to the police.

She explained the sequence of events to The U.S. Sun, saying, “She became paranoid.” “How do you know it’s me?” she began.

Timeline of Hannah Kobayashi’s disappearance

Since missing her connecting connection at the Los Angeles airport last Saturday, 31-year-old Hannah Kobayashi has been missing.

On Friday, November 8, Kobayashi departs from her Maui home and lands in Los Angeles in preparation for her subsequent journey to New York City. At 11 p.m., she has forty-two minutes to make the flight.

On Saturday, November 9, Kobayashi is scheduled to touch down at New York City’s JFK airport at 7 a.m., but he never shows up.

On Sunday, November 10, Kobayashi sends a series of cryptic texts in which she expresses her fear and anxiety about someone attempting to steal her identity and money.

A little over an hour from LAX, she is later spotted at an event at The Grove in Los Angeles.

On Monday, November 11, Kobayashi returns to LAX due to her phone. She uploads a photo to her Instagram. She switches off her phone.

On Wednesday, November 13, a family reports a missing person.

Thursday, November 14: Kobayashi is shown in Los Angeles in a YouTube video of the Nike event at The Grove.

At that point, we asked Hannah, “What’s going on?” and “Are you okay?” What’s going on?

She then told her family that it was a “long story,” but one of her texts said, “Deep Hackers wiped my identity, stole all of my funds & have had me on a mind f*** since Friday.”

“She sounded paranoid when we chatted on the phone after that. “Are you with people?” I asked, and she said “yes.” However, it was ambiguous.

“Do you feel safe?” I asked. “I think so,” she answered.

She stated she was returning to LAX to speak with American Airlines about rescheduling her ticket. I answered, “I love you too,” in response to her declaration.

I was instructing her.

Employees at the Taschen bookstore in The Grove retail mall, which is roughly ten miles from LAX, noticed her after she missed her flight.

The next day, she went to a Nike and LeBron James event and shared her experience on Instagram.

After missing her flight, it is unknown where she spent the night.

Her family claims that she began sending them odd texts at this time, but she assured them that she was going back to LAX to arrange her travel and meet them in New York.

“She didn’t explain to me why she attended the Grove event. “I just finished an awakening and a spiritual journey, and I’m heading back to the LAX airport now,” she stated, Montalvo remarked.

According to her aunt, she is more of a bookworm and a spiritual person than a drug user.

“I got tricked pretty much into giving away all of my funds,” one of the texts said. For someone I believed to be my love.

“She’s definitely of sound mind, no mental illness,” her aunt remarked. But that was just really strange.

STATION SPOTTING

“She is incredibly creative. It appeared like she needed to take a moment to observe a few things before saying, “Hey, I’m done, I’m heading to the airport, ready to go to New York City, I can’t wait to see you.”

She did beg for money, and I mentioned that she would definitely need assistance going to New York. However, because you had already paid for this, let’s see what you can do first. If possible, try rescheduling.

“How is it going?” I asked. She left it on read as well. The final text message was that one. That was about 2.50/3pm here this past Monday, the 11th.

One of her last texts read, “Hi loves. I just finished a very intense spiritual awakening. I’m charging my phone and heading back to the airport to get to NYC. I might need some help getting there, it’s a long story. I’ll keep you posted. I think I still have my hotel room.”

But hours later, police told the family she was seen getting off a train in Downtown Los Angeles around 10.03 pm. She has not been seen or heard from since.

It s bizarre and concerning not to hear from her. She s not inconsiderate; she wouldn t want us to worry, and she would not do this to us,” her aunt added.

“I really appreciate the police and the local community; LA is very kind. I just can’t wait to find her and get mad at her. I wanna see her and get mad at her. I love her.”

Her father, Ryan, told The U.S. Sun the situation has been “very traumatic” and it’s “every parent’s worst nightmare” as they continue to frantically look for his daughter and hand out fliers.
