My daughter is the only British hostage left in Gaza – she’s been imprisoned for 425 days… I fear she’ll starve to death

425 days after being hauled away by the militants, a woman is thought to be among the few prisoners still alive in the Hamas stronghold.

According to the gun-wielding savages, Emily Damari, 28, is one of about 50 prisoners who are still alive in horror tunnels.

For the first time, Emily’s frantic mother, Mandy, stepped up, pleading for her daughter to receive life-saving assistance because she worries she may starve to death.

Surrey-based kindergarten teacher Mandy described how a jammed lock in her safe room saved her life by keeping Hamas militants out of her space.

However, during the raid on the Kfar Aza kibbutz village, which resulted in 1,200 fatalities and 251 abductions, the terrorists were able to get to Emily, who lived close to her mother’s, and abduct her.

During the atrocity, she was shot in the hand and sustained shrapnel wounds to her leg; yet, it was later disclosed by the released hostages that she had courageously assisted in uplifting other prisoners in Gaza.

In the horrifying ambush, Emily’s cherished golden cockapoo, Choocha, was shot and killed in her arms.

“I raised Emily, my youngest child and only daughter, to love her British roots,” Mandy said at a news conference in London on Thursday.

Her friends would frequently stop by her home on the kibbutz for a cup of tea, and she is an avid Spurs supporter with a wonderful sense of British humor.

“Or at least they did until October 7, 2023.”

She is currently the final British hostage that Hamas is holding.

The family “believes that she is still with us today” despite knowing that Emily passed away almost eight months ago.

“Every day is a new death sentence for her in Gaza,” Mandy concluded in a terrifying manner.

“Her situation is dire, and she desperately needs to be released along with every other remaining hostage” .

Fears of “disease, starvation, dehydration, torture, execution, or friendly fire” are among the things that family and friends worry could kill Emily.

“Otherwise they will all die the most painful and tragic deaths imaginable,” Mandy stated, expressing her belief that more could be done to save her daughter and the other prisoners.

Despite evidence that suggests its employees participated in the October 7 bombings, labor has returned to supporting the United Nations’ Palestinian assistance organization in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also been forewarned by Starmer’s government that he might be detained if he enters the UK after a war crime warrant has been issued.

Only about 50 captives are said to remain alive today due to the terrible conditions, dangers, and deprivation caused by Hamas’ blocking or stealing of every help sent to them during the Gaza War.

Emily’s Hamas captors received a devastating direct plea from Mandy.

She implored them to treat her with respect and dignity, saying, “Just keep her alive by giving her food and water if she’s hungry or thirsty.

“I completely appreciate Britain’s efforts to bring aid into Gaza, but some of that aid needs to get to my daughter and the other hostages first.

With just our prayers and thoughts, the captives cannot endure another winter, despite their valiant efforts to stay alive.

Without Emily here, it’s just another heartbreaking reminder of what I’ve lost. Emily and I liked visiting London around Christmas and taking in all the lights.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for giving me hope that she will return from hell and that we may all visit London together during the upcoming Christmas season.

David Lammy, the Labour Foreign Secretary, was also singled out by Mandy for providing “warmth” during a meeting this week but taking no action.

She expressed gratitude to politicians such as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, and Nigel Farage of Reform, who pledged to personally appeal to his friend Donald Trump.

However, after providing the appearance that Lammy would assist, she went on to accuse him outright of disregarding the hostage’s situation.

Speaking yesterday in London, Mandy stated: “Unfortunately, not every experience I’ve had this week has resulted in positive momentum.

In front of almost 100 Labour MPs, including the Foreign Secretary, I gave a speech on Monday at the annual Labour Friends of Israel event.

I believed that my frequent appeals for action on the hostage aid issue had been well heard.

However, a few hours later, the Foreign Secretary released a statement stating that Israel must permit additional aid to enter Gaza for the winter.

The necessity of providing Emily and the other captives with any of that aid was not brought up, and no further comments have been made on the matter subsequently.

Although I value the Foreign Secretary’s kindness during our private meeting, I came looking for answers, not pity.
