Mystery sea creature dubbed ‘something out of ALIEN’ with glowing spikes washes up on UK
Locals in the UK are scared after seeing a MYSTERIOUS creature with flashing spikes creeping along a beach.
In Sussex, a conservation organization spotted the extraterrestrial-looking creature wriggling gently along the shore.
The odd creature was discovered to be a sea mouse, which typically inhabits the ocean below. However, because of unfavorable weather conditions, it washed up on the shore of the village of Rye.
“This furry creature is a Sea Mouse, a chunky marine worm,” explained Sarah Watson, the organizer of the Rye Harbour events.
Rarely seen and at 15 cm long, they can be washed up on the high tide line during winter storms.
“Look closely among its duller bristles to see a shimmering, iridescent fringe.”

The Sea Mouse resembles something from a science fiction movie because of its colorful bristles, which can shimmer in shades of blue, green, and gold.
Although they are ubiquitous around the UK shore, they are rarely seen in person, usually lying head-first in the sand. They can grow up to 30 cm.
Despite being an active predator, the spiky sea mouse poses no threat to people, despite its eerie appearance.
Under the seabed, the angular-looking creature eats crabs and other worms.
They won’t be after you anytime soon because they’re not that fast either.
Sarah commented, “The video is sped up to be three times faster than real life,” on a video showing the creature.
“Clever engineering aside, sea mice are rather slow.”

Sarah reassured residents that the unusual creature discovered at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve had been returned to the ocean without incident.
People were astonished to see it on the beach, which was not surprising given that they are often seen in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
Online users have been posting their reactions to the strange animal.
“Looks like somebody has dropped their toupee,” jokingly said one person.
Another replied, “I ‘d just keep well away and make sure I kept my shoes on.”
All a third user wrote was “OMG.”
