Netflix warned they can’t ‘botch NFL broadcast under any circumstances’ after Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson nightmare

Netflix has been cautioned by former NFL standout linebacker Shawne Merriman not to “botch” its impending NFL broadcast.

In a novel take on the holiday traditions, Netflix will stream two NFL games live on Christmas Day this year.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs’ visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers will be broadcast by the streaming behemoths.

The Baltimore Ravens will play the Houston Texans in that game on the holiday.

Merriman, a retired NFL player, is worried about the coverage of Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson last week, despite the fact that some new coverage is interesting.

The highly anticipated fight was exclusively shown by Netflix, however their coverage was marred by problems.

Technical issues, unintentional rear-end flashing, and complaints of low visual quality and buffering plagued fans’ broadcasts.

However, there were also a lot of complaints over an outage that occurred throughout Friday’s fight.

Netflix cannot afford to make the same blunders “under any circumstances” on Christmas Day, Merriman has now cautioned.

The three-time Pro Bowler told Fox NewsSports: “They can get away with what happened with the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight.

“They can’t get away with the NFL because their product is the best in the league.” The shield’s appearance, graphics packages, and in-and-out-of-spot transitions are flawless.

Under no circumstances can you make a terrible broadcast in the NFL. The NFL will not put up with it, so they need to iron out all the wrinkles immediately and have the correct team there.

The NFL’s brand is very well-known, and we all know and love that their manufacturing quality is among the best available.

A $75 million three-year agreement has been reached by Netflix to air the shows on the national holiday.

During the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event, fans already expressed their worries on social media, fearing that the NFL coverage would be poor as well.

“This Netflix buffering is a big problem,” someone commented. “I’m sure the NFL is taking detailed notes.”

“Netflix is so unprepared to handle this Tyson Paul fight,” said another fan.

“The freezing and buffering are terrible; it’s practically impossible to watch.

“They need to fix their issues before any NFL game is shown.”

“Netflix better figure this out before NFL on Christmas,” wrote a third.
