New Orleans Police Pursuit Leads to Two Arrests, According to LSP
NEW ORLEANS — In New Orleans on Monday, June 3, an attempted traffic stop resulted in a police pursuit and the arrest of two persons.
Near North Roman Street and Elysian Fields Avenue, the Louisiana State Police said that troopers of Troop NOLA attempted to pull over a 2016 Lincoln for “multiple traffic violations.”
The driver, who the LSP claimed was 31-year-old Danny Daniels, allegedly did not stop and started chasing after troopers, according to LSP officials.
Troops said Daniels and his passenger, identified by state police as 18-year-old A’Juan Preston, were brought into jail after reportedly pursuing the chase on foot. Domestic violence call results in suspect shot in St. Charles Parish.
“Daniels of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, had active warrants out of Vermont for multiple charges (to include 1st-degree murder) and Pennsylvania for multiple federal drug charges (sic),” according to troopers who conducted an investigation.

Peeping Tom’s complaints resulted in the arrest of Kenner Daniels, a man from New Orleans.
He is accused of displaying his license plate, aggravated fleeing from an officer, resisting an officer, possessing a firearm that was stolen (9mm pistol), having a firearm concealed by a felon, possessing schedule I, schedule III, and possession of drugs with a firearm.
Daniels was also booked on warrants from out of state, according to LSP officials.
Following his arrest, Preston was charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm, resisting an officer, and possessing drugs under Schedule I, schedule II, and Schedule III.
