NFL fans fear for Cris Collinsworth’s health after spotting NBC commentator’s hands during SNF broadcast
After seeing Cris Collinsworth on Sunday Night Football, NFL fans are now worried about his health.
The Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers faced off in a major game on Sunday night, but fans were paying closer attention to the game’s broadcaster.
The phrase “Cris Collinsworth’s hands” became viral on X on Sunday and Monday after the veteran commentator was given some screen time during the match.
Fans were worried about his health since his hands looked black and blue.
Despite being wrapped up in coats and scarves for the game, Collinsworth and his broadcast partner Mike Tirico didn’t seem to be protected from Buffalo’s bitter cold during the broadcast.
The discolouration might have resulted from Collinsworth and Tirico not wearing gloves.

During the match, temperatures dropped as low as 26 degrees, and winds as high as 30 mph were blowing.
Collinsworth might have been experiencing peripheral cyanosis as a result of those circumstances.
This happens in cold conditions “when only your hands, fingers, feet, and/or toes turn blue,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.
“This can happen in very cold weather if your hands and feet aren t well protected.”
As was already mentioned, Collinsworth lacked gloves to protect his hands.
Fans have, however, previously observed this problem with his hands, raising concerns during a game in Week 5 of this season.
Similar worries were raised about similarly discolored hands on Collinsworth in 2023.
Supporters have taken to social media to express their worries about any possible ailments and to inquire about Collinsworth’s health.

“Are the hands of Chris Collinsworth okay? Another fan remarked, “My grandfather’s hands looked like that when he was like 90?
