DETROIT (FOX 2):Detroit police’s request for a warrant in relation to Nicki Minaj’s alleged assault during her tour was turned down.

According to police, Minaj allegedly assaulted 40-year-old Brandon Garrett, a former employee, at Little Caesars Arena on April 21, 2024, when she was on tour.

The warrant was brought by Detroit police to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, but it was rejected due to what the prosecutors claim was inadequate proof of a crime.

Prosecutors claim that the Detroit Police Department has been asked to look into the situation more thoroughly.
