No. 5 Oregon State Seeks Redemption Against Gonzaga at Goss Stadium
On Monday night at Goss Stadium in Corvallis, the No. 5 Oregon State Beavers play host to the Gonzaga Bulldogs in an attempt to shake off in-state losses.
The Beavers begin a span of nine consecutive home games with the opening game of a two-game series. Oregon State has just returned from two difficult contests against USC, suffering a 2-1 loss on Thursday and a 17-4 drubbing on Friday. Saturday night’s series finale was marred by precipitation.
As a result of their three-place decline to No. 5 in this week’s D1baseball.com rankings, the Beavers fell to the Trojans.
To reverse the tide of defeat, the Beavers will face Gonzaga, which has suffered consecutive losses to Saint Mary’s. The Zags were blanked 14-0 by the Gaels in the series finale on Saturday.
Listed below are specifics regarding Monday night’s game:
The No. 5 Oregon State Beavers are at Gonzaga, and they are 21-4.
