Notre Dame fighting worrying illness sweeping through locker room just hours before Orange Bowl against Penn State

The Notre Dame locker room is experiencing a concerning illness that could hinder their hopes of making it further in the College Football Playoffs.

The sickness strikes as they get ready for Thursday night’s Orange Bowl matchup against Penn State.

Just hours before the 7:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff, their camp is reportedly experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Who has been impacted before the College Football Playoff semifinal is unknown.

“Those who have it have it bad,” On3 Sports reports.

However, backup and special teams players seem to be the most impacted.
