FOX 2, Oakland Park, Mich. One woman claimed that her father gave her a $4 million Michigan Lottery ticket “just because.”
The 26-year-old, “My dad bought a $150,000,000 Spectacular instant game ticket and gave it to me,” she claimed. When he shocked me by giving it to me, I questioned him about why he had purchased it for me. I felt it was quite kind of him to say that it was a just-because present.
That deed of kindness proved to be very successful.
“I was shocked to discover that I had won $4 million when I scratched the ticket off. My body was experiencing a wide range of feelings. I let out a yell. I sobbed. She remarked, “I was and still am shocked that I won $4 million.”
Light House Liquor, located at 13651 West 9 Mile Road, is where the winning ticket was bought.
Instead of receiving annuity payments for the entire amount, the winner opted to collect her award as a one-time lump sum payment of roughly $2.7 million. She intends to put her winnings away.
