Olivia Dunne teammate mysteriously removed from LSU roster just days after cryptic social media post
Inexplicably, Olivia Dunne’s LSU gymnastics teammate was kicked from the roster.
Fans were somewhat aback when LSU gymnastics announced its 2025 squad sans Annie Beard, age 20.
After ten years of training in Texas, Beard committed to LSU at the age of fifteen.
In 2020, she achieved her first flawless score in the floor routine, and last season, she won a national championship with LSU.
But she had numerous injuries during her tenure at LSU.
Beard had another scare this month after being sidelined during the national championship season.

Last month, Beard went off the beam 17 seconds into her routine at LSU’s Gymnastics 101 competition.
She took a moment to gather herself, then made the decision to leave the beam.
A week later, she shared a number of images on Instagram showing her in the LSU jersey and photos of her early training.
A heart emoji was the only caption.
There was a social media outpouring of support from Beard’s teammates after this message caused many supporters to worry that she was quitting from gymnastics.
“Love you & proud of you,” Dunne wrote.
“Always proud of you,” said Haleigh Bryant.
“Love you so much ab!!” Alexis Jeffrey made a remark.
“I’m always proud of you, AB,” said Alyona Shchennikova.
Beard hasn’t made an official retirement announcement, but for the time being, her mysterious Instagram post and removal from the LSU roster are speaking for her.
In the meantime, her teammate Dunne is rejoining the squad following graduation rumors.
‘Year five, baby’
Although Olivia Dunne has several professional alternatives, she isn’t quite ready to drop out of college.
The famous gymnast has been in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition and in advertisements with Travis Kelce.
Additionally, she has stood by her partner, pitcher Paul Skenes, during his explosive first season with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
However, Dunne declared, “Dear LSU, My life has been altered over the last four years.
Wearing a purple and gold leotard has a certain effect.
“Competing in front of 13,000 yelling Tiger supporters has a certain effect.
“There’s something about having your instructors push you to perform at your highest level.
Being a member of a team that created school history also has a certain appeal.
“It’s just something about LSU, regardless of how many opportunities I had off the mat.
“And for that reason, I’m here to clarify that I’m not yet Dunne. Cheers to Year Five, sweetie.
She claims to have regained her love for gymnastics in 2024, and she is currently competing in her sixth season as a super-senior.
“I discovered a fresh passion for the sport this past year. I felt incredibly strong and healthy from the beginning and prepared to contribute because I had trained a lot over the off-season,” Dunne remarked.
“This year’s team dynamic was fantastic, and everything came together nicely.

“Winning the national championships was a great team accomplishment, but I feel like I have more to give as an individual competitor.”
While her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, is pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates this summer, Dunne will be playing for LSU.
