Patrick Mahomes gives Travis Kelce brand new nickname after season-best performance in Chiefs-Texans

Superstar Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs has given his teammate Travis Kelce a new moniker.

The 35-year-old Kelce put on a fantastic display during Saturday’s 23–14 triumph over the Houston Texans at the Arrowhead.

With a season-high return of 117 yards and one score from seven grabs, the tight end led the Chiefs.

And the Kansas City star did it as Taylor Swift, his famous girlfriend, looked on from the stands.

The 29-year-old Mahomes then praised Kelce as the Chiefs prepare to play the Buffalo Bills in the Conference Championship at the Arrowhead on Monday.

The star quarterback, who refers to his teammate as “Playoff Trav” because he knows he usually produces at this point, was unsurprised.

Reid sends eight-word message to Kelce which proves how much Chiefs need him

“In big-time games, big-time players make big-time plays,” Mahomes stated. It’s Trav from the playoffs.

“Dude, he is a leader. Playing during these times, when he has the opportunity to make huge plays, is what he lives for.

“He goes out there and does that, and it seems like he does it in every single playoff game.”

After breaking the 100-yard mark against the Texans, Kelce set even another NFL record.

Over the course of his career, the NFL star has now amassed the most receiving yards of any player in history—100 or more—in nine postseason games.

The legend from Westlake, Ohio, has already set a number of records.
