Patrick Mahomes keeps incredible streak with Tom Brady alive and moves within one of QB icon with latest Chiefs feat

Tom Brady’s record is being approached by Patrick Mason.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 23–14 to advance to the AFC Championship game and face the Buffalo Bills.

They need just two more victories to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

However, after leading the Chiefs to their seventh consecutive AFC Championship game, Mahomes is already getting close to creating his own history.

He is currently one game away from tying Brady’s eight-game winning streak at the New England Patriots.

Given that the legendary quarterback played in 14 conference championship games, Mahomes still has a lot of catching up to go.

Remarkably, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ victory over the New York Jets in the 2010 AFC Championship was the last time neither Brady nor Mahomes were present.
