Pet owner scratched to death by his cat that clawed his legs & caused severe blood loss when he stopped it running away

A cat killed its owner by scratching him when he attempted to stop it from fleeing.

Tragically, Dmitry Ukhin, 55, passed away after major blood loss at home in the Leningrad region of Russia.

Two days after Styopka ran away, Dmitry located him and took him back to the Kirishsky District of the area on Friday, November 22.

When the owner returned inside with his orange cat, disaster struck.

The fierce cat scratched Dmitry’s leg that night, forcing him to bleed.

Due to his body’s weak clotting ability, Dmitry, who has diabetes, was unable to stop the blood loss.

Dmitry had to call his neighbors to inform them that he was dying because he was home alone while his wife was out, which made the situation worse.

When his bleeding continued, he was also able to phone the ambulance.

Due to the severity of Dmitry’s injuries, a local police officer confirmed that he passed away before paramedics could reach the site.

“A man called 112 at approximately 11 p.m. to report that his friend was bleeding from his leg because of a torn vein,” the police officer stated.

“The doctors who arrived only confirmed the man’s death, which the police received a telephone message about.”

They gave Dmitry first aid, according to his neighbor, but the medics waited a while to show up.

Natalya, Dmitry’s wife, claimed that Styopka was harmless, pleasant, and enjoyed taking solo walks.

Since forensic specialists have not yet determined the pet owner’s cause of death, the murder cat’s fate is still unknown.

The Sun has previously reported on other recent instances in Russia where an animal unexpectedly killed a human.

A father and son were tragically attacked by a big bear that broke into their house.

The two passed away in Luchegorsk, in the Primorsky region of eastern Russia, at the ages of 87 and 56.

At a shelter close to the family’s house, this man-eating monster had also murdered thirty-five dogs.

The wild bear mauled the dogs in a matter of minutes as they were tethered within the shelter and unable to flee.

“Our shelter is in a forest area, and the fence is wooden and flimsy,” stated Olga Zamyshlyaeva, head of the dog shelter.
