Philadelphia Man, Former MMA FIGHTER, Pleads GUILTY to Fatal STABBING in Atlantic City Hotel
A former mixed martial arts fighter from Philadelphia has entered a guilty plea to a stabbing death that occurred in Atlantic City in 2022.
Andrew Osborne, 35, entered a guilty plea to first-degree aggravated manslaughter on Thursday, May 30, following the stabbing death of Brian Wilkinson, 47, of Egg Harbor Township, according to a press statement issued by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Wilkinson was a resident of Egg Harbor Township.

A hotel room at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City was the location where the incident took place on September 23, 2022. Both of the individuals involved were present at the time. A motive for the attack that resulted in death was not disclosed by the authorities.
Osborne is said to have admitted that he was the one who stabbed Wilkinson to death inside of Wilkinson’s hotel room before the release was issued. Following their involvement in the criminal act, Osborne and his wife, who remained anonymous, made their way back to Philadelphia.
After some time had passed, the perpetrator of the assault was found and taken into custody by detectives from the Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, in conjunction with the Philadelphia Police Department.

As stated by NewJersey.com, Osborne has a history of competing in mixed martial arts sports.
Within the span of time between January 2012 and October 2013, he competed in three professional mixed martial arts bouts for three different promotions, as reported by the local radio station KYW. In his career, Osborne has a record of one victory and two defeats.
Osborne is expected to be sentenced on August 22 in front of Judge Bernard E. DeLury, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, which also has confirmed this information. Both the Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Atlantic City Police Department were responsible for conducting the investigation.
