FOX 2: OSCEOLA TOWNSHIP, MIOn Tuesday, a motorist lost control and struck another pickup with a snowplow, causing his pickup truck to split in two.
We know:
According to Michigan State Police, shortly before 7:50 p.m., the driver of the split truck lost control and began sliding sideways while driving south on M-26 close to Junction Road in Osceola Township. A pickup truck heading north was struck by the driver’s truck after it crossed the middle line.
A semi-crash on I-94 in Southwest Michigan resulted in chain-reaction pileups involving six semi-trucks and ten passenger cars.
The truck carrying the plow was taken to a hospital along with its drivers and a passenger.
It is thought that alcohol played a role in the collision.
