Plane passenger blasted for refusing to swap seats with crying toddler on flight SUES airline & woman who filmed her
A Brazilian bank employee is getting ready to sue the airline and the traveler who recorded her after she refused to switch seats with a sobbing kid on a flight.
When 29-year-old Jeniffer Castro refused to give up her window seat to a young kid on a GOL Airlines aircraft from Rio de Janeiro to Belo Horizonte on December 4, the incident went viral.
According to reports, the boy was seated in a different row beside a window, but he insisted on taking Jeniffer’s seat and started acting out when he didn’t get his way.
A boarding passenger scolded Jeniffer for her choice when she declined, pulling out her phone and recording the conversation.
Behind the camera, the woman is heard asking, “Why don’t you want to switch seats?”
“I even inquired as to whether she had a syndrome or anything. We are understanding if someone has a disability or other issue.

“Your face is being recorded; this is repulsive. People in the twenty-first century don’t care for children.
Jeniffer remained composed in spite of the taunts, merely inquiring as to if she was being filmed.
The video backfired online, with many people supporting Jeniffer for sticking her position rather than condemning it widely.
One user expressed sympathy for the girl, saying that all she needed was a calm journey.
Another wrote: The mother is the only one who is truly pampered, but life is now letting her know who is in charge.
Jeniffer shot to fame when the event caused a social media craze.
Since then, she has secured multiple advertising partnerships, and her Instagram page currently has over 2.1 million followers.
In an interview on the Cola Mais Podcast on Thursday, Jeniffer discussed the experience and shared her plans to take action, referring to herself in her bio as a first-time influencer.
Now, she continued, steps are being taken. My experience wasn’t simple. The flight attendants had the opportunity to inquire if I needed anything or if the passenger was bothering me, but they chose not to. They avoided becoming involved.
Jeniffer described the flight as follows: The child was in my seat when I boarded the aircraft. I waited for him to go after saying, “This is my seat.”
“Change with him, sit next to the aisle, and he’ll have your spot,” a man across the aisle stated. “No,” I replied.
The youngster sobbed throughout the whole fifty-minute journey. The mother was really impolite.
Even though there were some internet trolls, she continued, “I’m happy about all the support I received.” I’m still trying to comprehend things, so I’m not sure how to feel about it.
It follows a woman who slipped past an airport security guard and onto an aircraft without anyone noticing.
At Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, Serbia, the unidentified rogue traveler attempted to board a flight covertly but was apprehended after she had boarded the aircraft.
On January 8, the woman was captured on camera performing a military-style crawl on her stomach in the open. She makes sure to look both ways to make sure she is getting away with it.
She gets past a number of checks because it appears that no one is around to notice her unlawful behavior.
