(FOX 2) PLYMOUTH, Mich. When a man broke the window of a woman’s bus on Ann Arbor and Lilly in Plymouth Township, a road rage incident descended into violence.
We know:
In her Lollipup Mobile Dog Grooming bus, Amanda Carisse’s routine tour around Metro Detroit took a terrifying turn.
I arrived at the light by pulling up. “It was red already,” she remarked. “I’m acting like this in a large car. I’m approaching the light quite slowly.
Abruptly, there was a lot of commotion next to her automobile as another driver honked. Carisse claims that she was unable to back up with people in front of and behind her because she pulled up too far as someone attempted to turn out of the corner gas station.
“So I m sitting there thinking okay, the light s going to turn in a second,” she explained. “All of a sudden this guy is swearing and hops out of the car and I hear this noise and I didn t even realize what happened.”
When Carisse turned to look behind her, she discovered that her rear window was broken. Then the accused instigator took off in his car.
She remarked, “It was just a horrible experience,” “I ended up calling and canceling my next dog, and I called my clients for the rest of the week explaining like I don t even feel really well to drive and this never happens in Plymouth.”
After purchasing the small bus from Facebook Marketplace, Carisse claims that she spent the entire summer installing the dog grooming setup. Since selling her physical store, it has become her entire source of income.
“It just hurts so much because this isn t as simple as repairing a window,” she stated. “This window happened to be on the side of the bus that is insulated, framed, and walled, therefore I’m going to have to have the interior entirely gutted by a business. On this side are my tub, tank, and piping. It is possible to do more than simply fix the window.
Next steps:
The suspect driver, who may have been spotted in a silver Mercedes sedan without a state license plate, is being sought by Plymouth Township police. The last sighting of the motorist was on Ann Arbor Road heading east.
“We currently have officers conducting follow-up on the street. “We are currently investigating one tip that we received,” Chief James Knittel stated.
While she tries to figure out how to recover, Carisse believes her firm will be offline for some time.
