Pokémon fans can grab a shiny Rayquaza for the first time on Nintendo Switch in new raid battles

Players of Scarlet and Violet can now obtain a very special mon, marking the beginning of Pok Mon’s gift-giving season.

Beginning today, Friday, December 20, 2024, and lasting through Sunday, January 5, 2025, Shiny Rayquaza will be participating in Pok mon Scarlet & Violet raids.

Every day, a fresh raid will come up, giving you several opportunities to take it on.

Although you can attempt the raid as many times as you like, you will only be able to capture Rayquaza once.

It will be a little simpler than the Unrivalled seven-star raids because Shiny Rayquaza is available in five-star raids.

Rayquaza will have a Dragon Tera type, be 75 level, and have several strong Dragon-type techniques.

The Shiny Rayquaza will have two random stats and four perfect stats; however, the exact stats may vary from raid to raid.

Rayquaza’s set is as follows:

Rayquaza Shiny, Level 75

•

  Air Lock (No effects from weather)

  Dragon Pulse, Hurricane, Earthquake, Extreme Speed. (Dragon Ascent at the start of battle, Draco Meteor at three-quarters, Dragon Dance at halfway)

To eliminate Rayquaza, you can utilize a variety of Pok mon.

Since Rayquaza is immune to most of its Dragon-type attacks, it is a solid match for pretty much any Fairy-type.

Because of how fast Azumarill can set up and take down Rayquaza, we had the best success with it.

You can begin the battle by lowering Ray’s stats with Mud-slap and Chilling Water because Rayquaza will remove your stat enhancements after a few turns.

You can use Belly Drum to enhance your Attack when Rayquaza removes your boosts, then Terastylize and retaliate with a strong Play Rough.
