Pokémon hosts 24-hour livestream marathon unboxing with gifts for children’s charities

Everybody has had marathon sessions, whether it’s finishing a game in one enormous sitting or binge-watching their favorite TV show.

Fans of Pok Mon TCG will also understand what it’s like to grab several booster boxes and open them all at once.

But Pok Mon went above and beyond by holding a broadcast that lasted for 24 hours and during which more than 1,500 booster packs were unlocked.

This indicates that the participating streams opened over $7,000 worth of trade cards.

Openings of additional Pok mon merchandise, including purchases from the Pok mon Center, were also included in the webcast.

Ultimately, more than 20,000 cards were unsealed and placed in collector’s binders.

OMG CHARIZARD

Pok mon fans can grab cards for free in latest TCG Pocket Mass Outbreak event

All of the cards were taken from the most recent booster set, Surging Sparks, which has several expensive cards.

The rare image rarePikachu EX is the most costly card in the series, retailing for approximately $300 ($500) on the internet.

Other high-value cards in the set, on the other hand, retail for between $50 and $100.

Given the quantity of cards that were opened, these binders will undoubtedly contain a number of rare cards.

Although Pok Mon has donated the binders to UK children’s charities like Barnado’s, it appears that the organization will not be using the cards to generate revenue.

“We appreciate this amazing and unique donation from Pok mon, which will bring joy to so many children,” said Lynn Perry, the chief executive of Barnardo’s.

I’m confident that many of the thousands of kids we aid at Barnardo’s in the UK will value this kind present and take pleasure in expanding their card collections.

Although the cards’ exact purpose is unknown, it is hoped that the charities will find them useful.

The Trading Card Game and products account for the great bulk of Pok Mon’s revenue, making it one of the largest franchises in the world.

With the release of the TCG Pocketapp, which encourages card collection for free, it is evident that Pok Mon has been promoting the TCG portion of its business.

Players should be aware that booster packs are a type of loot box, even though I personally play TCG Pocket and collect the actual cards.

As long as they remain financially responsible, it’s great to see so many individuals participating in card games.
