Pokémon TCG Pocket trading: how does it work and how to get Trade Tokens
A trade option has finally been implemented to Pok mon TCG Pocket, three months after the game’s release.
If trading is still not enabled on the Social Hub tab after the most recent app update, go to the app store on your phone and manually upgrade.
Players can swap cards with their TCG Pocket pals thanks to the much-requested function, which also helps them get rid of duplicates and obtain cards they haven’t yet obtained.
Since the game’s release, the Pok mon company has assured players that trade will be included in a future update.
The Trade option was grayed out until today, but it is visible on the app’s Social Hub next to Friends and Community Showcases.
Before you begin trading your valuable cards with other players, you should be aware of the rules and limitations of Pok mon TCG Pockettrading.

How to trade in Pok mon TCG Pocket
The main procedures for starting a trade in Pok mon TCG Pocket are as follows:
Until the initial transaction is settled, expires, or you end it before your friend reacts, you won’t be able to begin another one.
Cards of the same rarity can only be traded, and if you trade a card with flare, your friend must reciprocate by sending a card with flair.
Regardless of the rarity of the card, each successful trade uses one unit of Trade Stamina.
The stamina point and the card you provided are refunded to you if your buddy rejects your trade or if you cancel it before they agree.
Up to a maximum of five stamina points, Trade Stamina restores one point every twenty-four hours.
In the event that a trade fails, there are additional stamina slots for recovered stamina points.
The new Trade Hourglass can help you shorten the time it takes to regain your trading endurance.
They can get these by finishing missions that provide them rewards, although the game hasn’t yet included them.
To restore stamina, you may, of course, also spend Pok Gold, but doing so costs actual money.
How to enable trade offers from other players
Here’s how to disable the option to suspend trade offers, which may be on by default, if you wish to accept cards from any player on your buddy list.
After choosing Other by tapping the main menu button, hit Settings, go to Suspend Trade Offers, and then tap the toggle to disable it.
If you would like to stop getting trade offers, you can always switch this back on.
How to get Trade Tokens in Pok mon TCG Pocket
When trading cards of three-, four-, and one-star rarity, an extra resource known as Trade Tokens is used.
Rarity cards with three diamonds cost 120 Trade Tokens, and cards with four diamonds cost 500 Trade Tokens.
Cards with a one-star rarity can be traded for 400 Trade Tokens, whereas cards with a two-, three-, or crown rarity are now completely untradeable.
You must swap them the same way you do to get flair in order to get Trade Tokens in Pok mon TCG Pocket.
Choose a card from the My Cards menu that is at least three diamonds rare in order to exchange it for Trade Tokens.
Choose the green Trade Token icon after tapping the “Obtain Items” button.
Similar to flair, you must have three copies of a card in order to exchange one for Trade Tokens because you will need to have at least two cards left over after the exchange.
The rarity of each card determines how many Trade Tokens you will obtain.
Three- and four-diamond rarity cards yield you 25 and 125 Trade Tokens each, respectively, whereas one- and two-diamond cards cannot be traded for Trade Tokens.
For every one-star card you destroy, you receive 100 Trade Tokens; for two- and three-star cards, you receive 300.
Crown rarity cards can also be destroyed for an incredible 1500 Trade Tokens each.
Despite their rarity, some special cards—like the uncommon immersive Mew card—cannot be traded for tokens.
In any case, you wouldn’t want to ruin cards like this one.
TCG Pocket trading rules
Here are a few more guidelines to follow when trading in Pok mon TCG Pocket.
Special cards from the shop, campaigns, missions, wonder pick events, and promo packs won as prizes during combat events are examples of promo cards that are completely non-tradable.
Potion, Professor’s Research, and Pok Ball are examples of item cards that are considered promo cards and are not exchangeable.
As previously stated, flair cards can only be exchanged for other flair cards of the same rarity.
If you have the same card in more than one language, you can choose the language and flair from the Edit Card option before sending it.
