Police Investigate Mysterious Deaths of 5 Individuals, Including 2 Children, in Home

OKLAHOMA CITY  — When Oklahoma City police were called to a house on the southwest side of the city on Monday, they found five bodies—at least two of them were children—there, according to the authorities.

Police Sgt. Gary Knight stated that all five victims’ injuries were consistent with homicide.

Knight stated, “This wasn’t a carbon monoxide situation or anything like that.” “These five individuals were taken from their lives.”

Knight said a man and woman were among those who were found dead, but he didn’t know the gender or ages of all the victims.

He said officers who arrived on the scene backed out of the home after determining all the victims were deceased and that investigators were obtaining a search warrant before they started combing through the scene for evidence.

Authorities in Oklahoma say that five people, including at least two children, were unexplainably found dead at a house.

Following their notification at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Monday, Oklahoma City police said that the five dead were discovered inside the residence.

Police stated that all five of the victims exhibited injuries consistent with homicide and that “this wasn’t a gas-type of situation or a fentanyl-type of situation.”

“Very tragic, very sad situation,” the police reported.

It was unclear at first how the five individuals were related to one another, authorities said.

Police noted, “We’re in the very early stages” of the inquiry.
