Authorities are still investigating what prompted the incident. Truesdell stated that one of his numerous motivations was to see a film made about the killings.
Lilly Creller, Parker’s friend and former coworker, told local reporters that her “heart sank” when she heard of his death.
“She always went out of her way to make my day better. And she constantly had a smile on her face, like if it were one of the most contagious smiles ever,” she explained. She added the worst aspect of the encounter was Tuesdell’s “sick” motive.
“Everyone knows this isn’t the best city, but, you know, there’s good people here and people take care of the community around here,” Creller stated. “And the fact that someone here fantasizes about making a movie about killing people makes me sick. It just makes my stomach turn; I despise that.”
