Jeopardy! Since the ‘Thirst Traps’ category was introduced, fans are worried that the impending spinoff would be ‘dumbed down’ from the original show.
Pop Culture Risk! was revealed in May, and the game would be played by three teams of three.
This version assesses players’ understanding of subjects like “BigCharlesDickensEnergy,” “Origin of the Meme,” and “It was in the 1990s.”
An Instagram preview clip gave fans a first look.
The “Thirst Traps” category was added, as the little movie demonstrated.
The show’s high standards were sliding, which worried some viewers.

“It’s nice to see Jeopardy drop their standards and slide into vulgarity,” said a third commenter.
Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live was officially confirmed as the presenter of Pop Culture Jeopardy! in July.
In a statement, the comedian revealed, “What is: I’m excited.”
Officially, the show will debut on Wednesday, December 4.

In contrast to previous iterations of the game, ABC will not be hosting Pop Culture Jeopardy!.
It will instead be available on Amazon Prime, with three new episodes released every week.
