Prince William shows off boxing skills during charity outing before making trip to watch beloved Villa take on Monaco

The Prince William continued his battle against homelessness Wednesday by donning boxing gloves and entering the ring.

Teachers at the charity Centrepoint, which assists youth thrown onto the streets, put the 42-year-old Prince of Wales through drills.

Wills, a father of three, channeled his inner Muhammad Ali during a session hosted by the BoxWise Foundation, which provides athletic opportunities to underprivileged children.

The future King informed trainer Charlie Beatt, “I might get back into boxing,” after hurling jabs and a hook.

It’s been a while—a long time, in fact—but the work is really difficult.

Wills, who has been a patron of Centrepoint since 2005, played table football with others who were assisted by the Ealing, West London-based organization.

Before attending the London School of Economics, Bethany, 24, who became homeless at the age of 17 with a little child, spoke to The Aston Villafan.

She informed him: I was able to attend university since Centerpoint really aided me in developing my life skills. It changed me.

I’m not sure where I would be right now without them.

He also spoke with 21-year-old Nora, who, despite experiencing homelessness in her teens, opened a hair and beauty parlor.

We must do more to assist folks as soon as possible, he informed her.

If you receive the proper support, it can be a steep upward curve; if not, it can be a steep drop down.

Seyi Obakin, the head of Centrepoint, praised Wills as a genuine ambassador.

He stated: He is increasingly aware that he may be subject to criticism the more he takes on. He listens even when people say things like, “Oh, you live in a palace, what do you know about this situation?” He has the power to change things.

Homewards, Wills’ five-year homelessness initiative, has Centerpoint as a partner.

It connects rough sleepers with businesses, nonprofits, and town halls in Dorset, London, Sheffield, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. It is run by his Royal Foundation staff.

“Homewards is currently in its second year, and the Prince is focused on the action that can take place across the six locations,” Kensington Palace stated. He will undoubtedly be motivated by the creative strategy he observed at Centrepoint.

Prince flew to Monaco to witness today’s Champions League Aston Villa match after his visit to Centrepoint.

As Unai Emery led his Premier talents to the playground of the billionaires in the South of France, he was seen at the stadium looking nervous.

Villa would have started the home straight in first place with a victory today in the Principality.

They now have a big test of their mettle when they play Celtic at home on Wednesday after losing to Monaco 1-0.

Last week, Prince William, a well-known Aston Villa fanatic, even met with several of his fellow fans in Birmingham.

While in the city to give a speech at the College of Paramedics conference, William had arranged to meet up with Villa regulars.

Following the formal Royal engagement, he purchased a round of beers for eight Villa supporters at a Wetherspoons pub near Birmingham New Street station.

After spending around thirty minutes there and sipping a pint of Bulmers cider, William boarded a train to return to London.

Steve Jones, a 56-year-old Villa supporter for the past 35 years, stated: The club called us to inform us that Prince William wanted to meet with a group of Villa supporters while he was in Birmingham. He wanted to be updated on any Villa-related events.

He was outstanding. I was astounded by his level of involvement with the club.

He doesn’t like fair weather. He has an intense fondness for the club.

Steve described the Prince as a “really genuine guy” who was “massively interested” in the team.

One day after the Princess of Wales declared her cancer was in remission, Harry made an exuberant appearance.

She commended the Royal Marsden Hospital personnel for their “exceptional” treatment during her lone visit.
