Putin warns he could strike British and US targets as he confirms launch of new hypersonic missile on Ukraine

After Ukraine launched NATO missiles into Russian territory, Vladimir Putin issued his most serious warning to date, threatening to attack US and British military installations.

In a deranged act of nuclear brinksmanship, the tyrant disclosed that he had launched a new type of ballistic missile against Ukraine today, sending it hurtling down from the edge of space.

Putin stated in a televised speech today that Russian forces may legitimately strike military installations in the US and the UK in retaliation for Ukraine’s use of ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles.

He declared: “Russia believes it has the right to attack military installations of nations that allow the use of their weapons against Russia.

“Since this moment, as we have underscored repeatedly, the conflict in Ukraine, provoked by the West, has acquired elements of global nature.”

As part of Russia’s retaliation campaign, Kyiv said today that Ukraine had been struck by what was believed to be the first intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) fired during the conflict.

Images of missiles raining down on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro showed what seemed to be six separate warheads from a Russian R-26 Rubezh ICBM, which is capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

However, Putin declared in the same speech that Russian soldiers had instead tested a new IRBM in an attack on Ukraine.

During his TV broadcast, he stated, “Among other things, one of the newest Russian medium-range missile systems was tested.”

In this instance, using a ballistic missile in a hypersonic device free of nuclear. Oreshnik is the name our engineers gave it.

“In response to the use of American and British long-range weapons, on November 21 of this year, the Russian armed forces launched a combined strike on one of the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.”

He cautioned that it might deploy the weapon against nations that had let Kyiv to attack Russia with its missiles.

and that there aren’t any tools available right now to stop such a weapon.

“We will select targets for destruction if necessary,” the dictator continued. As of the now, there are no ways to stop such weapons. It isn’t feasible.

“‘I recommend that the ruling elites of those countries which are considering allegiance against Russia seriously consider this.”

According to Zelensky, the new Russian missile was as fast and as high as an ICBM.

ICBMs were created for nuclear warfare and have a range of more than 5,500 kilometers.

They can reach speeds of 13,000 mph as they burst into space and then hurtle nearly down to their targets.

Russia had been preparing the strike for months, according to British Defense Secretary John Healey.

Regarding the sort of missile deployed, Russia declined to say.

A nine-missile barrage on the center city of Dnipro in the early hours of Thursday included today’s attack on Ukraine.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force, a claimed ICBM was fired approximately 1000 kilometers from Dnipro from Russia’s Astrakhan area.

According to Kyiv’s media, the missile was a 5,800-kilometer-range RS-26 Rubezh.

It would be the first time an ICBM has ever been fired in retaliation, if confirmed.

Although Western officials acknowledged the use of a ballistic missile, they issued a warning that its range was below the ICBM threshold.

The 12-meter-long, 36-ton Rubezh is launched from a 16-wheel vehicle.

From launch locations on Russian territory, it can transport an 800 kg nuclear warhead to all nations in the northern hemisphere.

Halfway through a news briefing, Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for Russia’s foreign ministry, was instructed not to comment on the alleged ICBM strike.

In the middle of the televised conference, she was seen taking a call.

A supposedly senior diplomat was heard over her microphone saying: “Masha [Maria], ballistic missile strikes on Yuzhmash [defense plant in Dnipro].”

“Now, the Westerners are discussing it. Don’t make any comments.

The strike occurred one day after the United States closed its embassies in Kyiv due to concerns about a major missile strike.

Britain did not close its embassy.

On day 1000 of the bloody conflict, Ukraine made a significant advancement when it struck a military depot in Bryansk with ATACMS rockets.

The moment Ukraine allegedly fired Storm Shadow rockets inside Russia for the first time was captured on camera Friday night.

According to Andrei Kelin, Russia’s ambassador to the UK, Britain is now actively participating in this conflict because Storm Shadow missiles were used on a Russian military facility.

Similar accusations of Western assistance for Ukraine have already been made by Moscow.

President Putin lowered the threshold for apocalyptic strikes by signing a new nuclear policy on Tuesday.

The strategy, which took months to develop, allows Russia to launch a nuclear first strike in the event that a nation supported by a nuclear power attacks it.

Unverified video revealed many explosions over Dnipro that were compatible with a multiple independent reentry vehicle, or MIRV, type of warhead.

How Ukraine could turn war around in WEEKS using US missiles

EXCLUSIVE from Georgie English and Sayan Bose, both foreign news reporters

More than a million soldiers and civilians have been killed or injured in Vlad’s brutal 1,000-day war in Ukraine.

In February 2022, as part of the delusional tyrant’s desire to recreate the Soviet Union despite his obsessive fears over NATO, Putin’s armies attacked its neighbor.

Nearly three years later, Kyiv’s tired soldiers are engaged in death-defying combat on several fronts.

In the grueling struggle, they have suffered multiple reverses as Russia has gradually increased its control over Ukrainian territory.

However, according to one analyst, the US approval that now permits Ukraine to utilize long-range ATACMS missiles could be a game changer.

Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon told The Sun that if Ukraine had the steadfast backing of important Western allies, it could end the war in six weeks.

A “significant development” is Washington’s decision to permit Ukraine to employ ATACMS, according to the former British army official, and the possibility that Britain’s Storm Shadow missiles may be used in the war effort.

He clarified: “This is the 1,000th day of this fight, and Putin and his close associates have been threatening a nuclear strike if we increase it since day one, but it hasn’t happened.

“It should give our leaders more confidence because they now need to understand that Putin’s warnings are wholly unfounded.

“With the Russian boxer on the ropes, now is the time that we enable the Ukrainians to absolutely put in the killer punch and be in a really good position for the expected ceasefire.”

He went on to say: “This is a big step, as seen by the Russians’ strong vocal attacks against the use of NATO missiles.

“It could allow Ukraine to gain a good position in [the next] six weeks which will be important forZelenskyif Trump forces a ceasefire after getting back in office.”
