Queen Camilla decorates Christmas tree with terminally ill youngsters as she treats them to morning of festive fun

QUEEN Yesterday, Camilla gave a group of children who are near death a wonderful morning of holiday pleasure by letting them help her decorate a Christmas tree.

It’s customary for kids from Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and hospice Helen & Douglas House to spend a morning with the Queen at Clarence House.

Before having lunch with Queen Camilla, the kids also took in a joyous performance by the Band and Bugles of the Rifles.

Santa told Camilla, “I’m happy to tell you that you are on the good list again this year,” when they first met.

Along with the kids, Camilla, 77, who has been battling a chest infection and pneumonia in recent weeks, ate bangers and mash.

In the meantime, yesterday King Charles, 76, went to see Christmas booths at Battersea Power Station in London.

“Hello, your majesty,” the child yelled.

When Camilla entered the White Drawing Room for a special tea with her family, she made the most of her excitement by bouncing with joy.

The child also had a brief conversation with Her Majesty.

The Queen responded, “Oh, you love tea, there you are, you’ll be able to have tea from now on,” when she added, “I love tea.”
