Rachael Ray files trademark for new pizza-related business venture despite fans’ concerns for her health
Despite fans’ worries about the chef’s health, Rachel Ray has filed trademarks for a new pizza-related business venture.
Rachael Ray, 56, is the host of the podcast I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes, and Rachael Ray in Tuscany on FYI.
Fans have been worried about the chef in recent months after she made slurred remarks in cooking videos and alluded to health problems in her podcast.
Rachael isn’t slowing down anytime soon, either, in spite of the worries.
According to exclusive information obtained by The U.S. Sun, Rachael is growing her culinary empire by starting a new pizza-related company.
Rachael filed a trademark application under her name for pizza peels and egg poaches on October 4, 2024, according to the USPTO.

Rachael’s name appears on a second trademark application for non-electric pizza cutters that was submitted on October 4, 2024.
Both trademarks have not yet been approved.
Since she sells pans, mixing bowls, chopping boards, bakeware, spatulas, and other cooking essentials on her website, Rachael is no stranger to selling kitchenware.
HEALTH WORRIES
As admirers have voiced concerns about the chef, she is growing her business.
During the cooking show, she seemed to be slurring her words in a footage for Rachael Ray in Tuscany.
“Is she okay? One admirer responded to the Instagram video by asking, “What happened?”
Someone else commented, “This is alarming. There’s a problem.
“I love you, but are you okay?” said a third. I’m quite worried.”
Rachael has filtered the comments on her videos rather than responding to the issues.
She keeps updating her Instagram feed with cooking videos from episodes.
Later that month, Rachael returned to social media with a brand-new recipe, dismissing concerns about her health.
On Instagram, she posted the recipe for her shrimp and chorizo paella.
“Hope you are doing okay,” was one of the comments left beneath Rachael’s post.
PODCAST CONFESSIONS
On Tuesday, October 2, Rachel’s podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, released its debut episode.
Living with her husband, John Cusimano, in their home in Lake Luzerne, New York, Rachael talked candidly about her passion of being a homemaker.
I take care of the house. She told her guest, “I really enjoy chores, and I love being in the kitchen.”
What people think about physical labor I enjoy creating lists and organizing feasts.
Rachael continued by sharing her passion for manual labor, which she acknowledged had been put on hold.
She remarked, “I enjoy helping carry in the wood.” “I haven’t been doing that for a while because I had a few serious falls in the last several weeks.
Rachael explained her reason for waking up at four in the morning in the episode that aired on November 12.
“I’ve gotten worse as I’ve gotten older, because I feel like time might be shorter, and I want my time to be more, every minute of it,” she stated to her guest.
She talked candidly about how her pets support her throughout her tough times in the November 19 episode.
“It just gives you a ray of life,” she added. The unconditional affection it offers a person truly helps them get through difficult times.
For me, the easiest way to feel better on a bad day or when I’m feeling really ill is to go home and snuggle up with my dog in bed with a blanket!
Decades before the chef started to worry, the U.S. Sun even claimed that Rachaelfiled had made her husband her power of attorney.
According to the paper, in the event that you become incapacitated or incapable, the authority you provide here remains in effect.
Note: This is a serious document. It grants your designated agent broad authority to manage your assets while you are still alive, including the ability to sell, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of any real or personal property without your consent or prior notice.
Even if you lose your ability or become handicapped, these powers will still be there.
The report went on, This text does not provide anyone the authority to decide on medical or other health-related matters. To accomplish this, you can use a health care proxy.
John was designated by Rachael as her power of attorney.
John was given just real estate transaction authorization by Rachael.
Only a few weeks before their wedding on September 24, 2005, Rachael and John signed off on the contract on July 19, 2005.
On December 8, 2005, the document was formally filed with the court.
ATTORNEY SPEAKS OUT
Adam Michael Sacks, a Beverly Hills lawyer, clarified that a power of attorney could be granted for a number of reasons, such as if the person making the request has health concerns.
Mr. Sacks told The U.S. Sun, “It is something that would be done if you are sick.” Certain choices may be made by the power of attorney. If you own a house that needs to be sold and you’re, say, in a coma, you have to sign certain documents. That person can sign on your behalf if you have a power of attorney.
An attorney is a person who represents you. I can represent you in court if I am your lawyer. If she couldn’t make the decision, he would.
The lawyer from Beverly Hills went on, It’s not typical. One of the causes is realizing that you have an issue, such as growing older or being ill.
“It must be a spouse or someone you fully trust. You would ask them to make choices just like you would.
Mr. Sacks stated that a power of attorney might be used for financial assistance in addition to medical grounds.
He clarified her possible justification, saying, “I trust my lawyer or husband to handle it; I’m a chef and can’t handle money.”
