Rachael Ray reveals husband John Cusimano’s ‘heartbreak’ over his career failure as she maintains ‘$100m’ cooking empire

In a recent, frank podcast episode, Rachel Ray revealed that her husband is devastated about his career.

Since 2005, the 56-year-old TV chef has been wed to John Cusimano, 57.

Rachael revealed his professional failure sadness in an episode of her new “unscripted and raw” debut podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, suggesting that John, a musician and lawyer, laments not being an A-list rock star.

“We’re here in Tuscany,” Rachael said on this week’s show, adding that her husband and this episode’s guest, Jeremy Sisto, had been in the studio together working on their songs.

She disclosed, “My husband wanted to go to Berkeley and be Trent Reznor,” alluding to the well-known rocker from Nine Inch Nails.

Rachael continued by describing how he “ended up a lawyer” but continues to play music professionally. He is a member of The Cringe.

Rachael and her husband have a history of conflict, which the famous chef has already discussed in public.

“It s very hard, especially for hot-tempered or creative loud people to be able to calm it down” she had previously said.

“John and I never manage to calm things down. We constantly have massive screaming matches.

“But I think it’s healthy, I really do,” she said. Those that are too silent are not someone I trust.
