RANDY MOSS, who is still fighting bile duct cancer, is in “great spirits”

As condolences poured in from the sports community, the NFL legend disclosed that he had undergone surgery and was receiving chemotherapy.

Moss revealed in the shocking video statement that he required a six-hour surgery and that he was thereafter reliant on a cane to walk.

Brittany Tolliferreo, the ESPN analyst’s business partner and co-owner of Crisppi’s Chicken, provided an update on his health.

“He was really happy when I spoke to him,” she told TMZ.

“His personality is rather stable, and I haven’t noticed any changes in him.

“He’s a smart and strong businessman and he wants everything to be successful and continue to grow.”

A new site in Miami, Florida, will open next week, replacing the original eatery in Hungtington, West Virginia.

Additionally, Tolliferreo made a suggestion that the former New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings receiver might be there at the new site on January 18 to cut the rope.

“You never know with Randy, he’s full of surprises,” she stated.

“But he has given us his full support with this Miami location.”

When Moss appeared on ESPN in late November with yellow eyes, it greatly alarmed the fans.

After removing himself from live TV obligations a few days later, he made an appearance on video in mid-December to reveal that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

After spending six days in the hospital, Moss had a Whipple procedure, which involves removing a portion of the gallbladder, bile duct, small intestine, and pancreas.

“I didn’t think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was,” Moss stated in the video, using a cane for assistance.

“My family and I truly felt the impact of all the well wishes and prayers.

“I’ll be on set as soon as I’m well enough to go out with guys again. I’m hoping to see you all very soon.

After a Hall of Fame career in which he was recognized as one of the greatest and most dominant football receivers of all time, Moss, 47, has been employed by ESPN since 2016.
