Rare ‘proof’ detail makes your coin worth $84k ahead of auction – but you must spot the ‘cameo’ detail to score the cash
The price of a 1910 COIN is $84,000 at auction, and it continues to rise.
Originally worth only five cents, the silver nickel is now a member of the Liberty coin collection.
The production of this series took place from 1883 until 1912.
But this specific type is called PCGS Deep Cameo.
The series is extremely rare because there are just 22 pieces in it.
It is a “proof” version, the best grade available, and is composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel.

This coin is described as the ideal type among deep cameo proofs by Heritage Auctions, an online auction site.
It displays a “astounding depth of reflectivity while the coin is heavily frosted,” according to the website.
The auction firm also claims that the coin is dazzling, but a closer look reveals that there is only a faint tinge of color.
RARE GEM
Lady Liberty is shown on this coin with a liberty crown in her hair.
Her hair is tied up, and she faces left.
The 1910 date is at the bottom, and stars are around her on the left and right.
The United States of America is depicted on the reverse, with the letter V in the middle of the coin.
The coin’s reverse side also has the phrase E PLURIBUS UNUM.
COINING IT
This coin is incredibly uncommon, according to Heritage Auction, and collectors from all over the world are vying for the highest price.
Additionally, it is very uncommon because neither side has any touch marks.
In a recent interview with the U.S. Sun, an expert offered five suggestions for those considering coin collecting.
How coins are graded
Coins are ranked from 1 (the lowest grade) to 70 (the best example), with 70 being the highest grade.
Mint State coins are those with numbers 60 to 70, which are typically the most sought-after by collectors.
It is normal to find pieces in MS67, MS68, and MS69 conditions that sell for thousands of dollars at auction.
Among earlier coins, an MS-70 is almost impossible to locate.
According to the expert, there is a great deal of potential for financial advantage if you are trained to pay attention to certain things.
