RHOSLC’s Bronwyn Newport and husband Todd Bradley lived separately in different states during marriage, lawsuit claims

Throughout their eight-year marriage, Bronwyn Newport, star of REAL Housewives of Salt Lake City, and her husband, Todd Bradley, have lived apart.

RHOSLCFans believe the couple has underlying marital problems because newbie Bronwyn, 39, has repeatedly alluded to difficulties in her relationship with Todd, 65, on the show.

The U.S. Sun exclusively obtained court documents that show the pair resided in two different states from 2016 to 2018.

Todd and Bronwyn are named as defendants in a March 2018 lawsuit brought by a Utah resident who claims that one of their Boxer dogs assaulted her.

Despite the fact that the alleged assault occurred in 2016, the complainant claimed that at the time of filing in 2018, Bronwyn lived in Utah and Todd lived in California.

According to court documents, the tech executive lived in San Francisco, while the fashion influencer lived in Park City, Utah, with her dog keeper at the time.

It is known that the couple were married in 2016 after meeting in San Francisco in 2014 while she was employed in finance.

According to the person suing the couple, Newport-Bradley told investigating animal control officer Vernon that the dog was hers, that [the dog keeper] worked for her, that the dog was cared for, and that the dog was taken back and forth between Park City and San Francisco, where Defendant Richard Todd Bradley was living.

The dog resided in [address withheld] in Park City, Utah, with [the dog keeper] and Newport-Bradley while in Utah. Since Newport-Bradley was the dog’s owner at the time of the occurrence, they are solely responsible for Davidson’s injuries.

The docs also allege that Todd bought the Park City property in 2015 to serve as his second home, but the dog was “regularly transported” to his owner in San Francisco instead of the businessman going back and forth between the two states.

In September 2021, the mansion where Bronwyn and Todd currently reside was bought.

Whether the couple lived apart till they moved into their present residence is unknown.

‘VICIOUS DOG’

The alleged event occurred in November 2016 while the Plaintiff was strolling along Summit County, Utah’s Split Rail Trail, a public recreational path.

The complainant held out her hand for the dog to sniff it as the Plaintiff walked up to Bronwyn’s dog keeper, who was walking a leashed Boxer.

According to the documents examined by The U.S. Sun, the pleasant gesture took a turn for the worse when the dog bit [Plaintiff’s] hand, resulting in serious damage that required surgery.

The plaintiff experienced financial losses, missed income, diminished earning potential, and diminished capacity to perform domestic duties. She also experienced non-economic damages as a result of her loss of pleasure of life and mental and bodily pain and suffering.

The complaint argues that the dog owners were liable for the harm because they knew the dog was aggressive or troublesome.

Three months later, the original complaint was changed because the complainant thought it was a Tier 2 issue instead of a Tier 1 one.

losses under $50,000 are classified as Tier 1 in the State of Utah, whereas losses over $50,000 but under $300,000 are classified as Tier 2.

MORE LAWSUITS

In June 2018, Bronwyn and Todd responded to the complaint, refuting numerous accusations.

They acknowledged, nevertheless, that they had discussed the dog’s living situation with the policeman.

They also acknowledged that the dog is owned by the reality star and occasionally visits her in Park City.

The lawyer for Bronwyn and Todd was contacted by the U.S. Sun for comment on this article, but they did not respond right away.

After the Plaintiff and Defendants reached a complete compromise and resolved the issues at hand, the lawsuit was ultimately dismissed with prejudice in September 2018.

Two identical dog bite instances involving the pair were previously covered by the U.S. Sun. However, the assaults apparently happened at their new house and happened within the last two years, one involving an Amazon employee and the other involving an Instacart employee.

MARRIAGE STRUGGLES

Bronwyn was introduced as a new cast member in Season 5 of RHOSLC.Lisa Barlow, a close friend, introduced her to the group.

But Lisa and her husband nearly were expelled for causing trouble with Bronwyn on the Palm Springs trip.

Todd told his wife after the trip that she had destroyed the afternoon by acting in a way he had never seen her do before.

In her confession, the housewife went on to say, “Todd’s approval might mean everything to me.” It is quite difficult for me to hear that I am not only missing the target but also completely out of sync with it.

Todd embarrassed Bronwyn by putting an end to any discussion about her daughter Gwen’s nonexistent relationship with the 18-year-old’s paternal grandparents during the couple’s anniversary meal, which was also held in Palm Springs.

As much as I adore Todd, he is the one that embarrasses me right now, she admitted to the cameras. Todd and I definitely have a completely different chemistry when it comes to anger and fury. There is no way to move past Todd’s extremely defined stopping point.

In the episode that aired on November 27, Todd chastised his wife for using the profanity over Meredith Mark’s Shabbat dinner.

The midseason trailer indicates that viewers will continue to witness the couple’s arguments.

“I think he’s kind of mean to her,” Heather Gay said to Whitney Rose. He brushes her off.

Shortly after, Bronwyn said to her co-stars: We can discuss the genuine s**t I’ve experienced with Todd if you want to talk about my spouse.

In an interview with Page Six in November of this year, Bronwyn stated that she and her husband are extremely content, stable, and wonderful.
