Road rage shooting leaves man wounded in the head in Detroit; suspect turns self in

Following an incident earlier today that left a victim critically injured and with a head wound, Detroit police have taken the accused gunman into custody.

FOX 2.According to authorities, a guy on Detroit’s west side was shot in the head Thursday afternoon during a road rage incident and is in extremely critical condition.

The alleged shooter has turned himself in, according to the DPD as of 6 p.m. Around 3 p.m., the incident occurred in the 13700 block of Joy Road close to Shaefer.

According to a witness who spoke to FOX 2, the shooting started because of a collision that occurred in the middle of the road.

“I just seen a body on the ground, that’s all,” she stated. “I didn’t hear too much, just screaming and yelling.”
