Rob Gronkowski absent from Fox NFL Sunday duty after Terry Bradshaw jibe as Jimmy Johnson makes show return

Fox NFL Sunday’s Week 12 broadcast will not feature ROB Gronkowski.

Following Terry Bradshaw’s apology to the New England Patriots legend during the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys great Jimmy Johnson will take Gronkowski’s place.

On social media, Fox Sports shared information on the network’s Week 12 broadcasting activity.

The typical ensemble of Fox NFL Sunday will be present on Sunday, including NFL insider Jay Glazer, presenter Curt Menefee, and commentators Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Johnson.

Gronkowski won’t be the show’s star, though.

In the Week 11 episode of Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw made a cheeky remark about Gronk, which led to the decision.

In response, Gronk said, “Wow, yeah, I’m part of the show Terry.”

In response, Bradshaw acknowledged his seeming confusion.

When the Pittsburgh Steelersicon stated, “Okay, I made a mistake,”

After working as a full-time contributor to Fox NFL Sunday for the previous two years, Gronk has taken on a new position with the network.

He is not a regular analyst, but rather a contributor to the network.

Gronkowski is also involved with Fox NFL Kickoff, the hour-long Sunday program that precedes Fox NFL Sunday.

Over the weekend, he took Johnson’s place because the 81-year-old was off on Sunday.

In Week 12, the two will switch places, with Gronk taking this weekend’s Sunday off.

When Fox NFL Sunday aired a special program in Week 10, the entire crew was present.

To commemorate Veteran’s Day, Gronkowski and the rest of the group participated in a two-hour live special at Naval Base San Diego.
