Rob Gronkowski suffers technical issue on Fox NFL after chest bump with Julian Edelman almost backfired
ROB Gronkowski experienced a technical problem during the Week 11 edition of a Fox NFL program.
The 35-year-old was alongside former New England Patriots teammate Julian Edelman when the sequence occurred on Fox NFL Kickoff.
Charissa Thompson hosts the pregame show that takes place before Fox NFL Sunday.
She was alongside analysts Gronkowski and Edelman during a segment called Fox Bros.
The former NFL stars were tasked with analyzing Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye.
But first, Thompson opened the segment by saying to Gronkowski and Edelman, “[It’s] just always a good time when you two are together. Right Jules?”

“Just a couple [of] dudes being dudes,” Edelman replied.
He then chest-bumped Gronkowski and the two groaned when both made contact with each other.
Thompson noticed Gronk nearly lost his microphone during the chest-bump sequence.
“How’d that microphone last in that whole situation? Did you lose it?” she asked Gronkowski.
“I almost did lose it. He actually hit my mic pack,” Gronk answered.
“My back hurts. Stop hurting me, Jules.”
Thompson wouldn’t offer sympathy to the 6-foot-6, 265-pound Gronkowski and said to him, “You can handle it.”
Edelman then seemed to offer a massage to Gronkowski’s back.
Gronk later appeared on Fox NFL Sunday and turned heads after jokingly threatening to hit Michael Strahan on behalf of Fox NFL broadcaster Tom Brady after a comment about the Buffalo Bills.
Brady joined the show, via hologram, and was mocked by Strahan about his New York Giants beating the Patriots in the 2007-08 Super Bowl.
“When you have a team that you own in the regular season but then they own you in the post-season, how do you get over that? How do you do that?”
“Because I’ve only been on the owning side. I’m just curious. How does that work?”
Brady laughed at the comment before responding, “That hurts my heart, man.”

Then, Gronk asked Brady, ” Hey, do you want me to hit him real quick for you, Tom?”
The NFL icon went on to say, “Take care of him for me, Gronky, take care of him.”
