Rob Gronkowski’s best ever investment revealed as $69,000 of Apple stock he forgot about – it’s now worth a fortune
ROB Gronkowski disclosed a significant career investment that is now extremely valuable.
The renowned tight end talked about his successful foray into Applestocks.
Gronkowski told Fortune that he invested in Apple for the first time ten years ago.
As the tale goes, Gronk was advised to invest in the software company by a contractor who was working on his house.
“It s the best investment I ve ever had in my life,” he stated.
Gronk revealed that before he made an investment, the contractor had to explain the business to him several times.

“The man who really constructed my Foxborough home advised me to purchase Apple stock. “I’m telling you,” he said, “that’s the key.
“I had never invested in equities and had no idea how they operated.
“So I thought, Okay, let me handle this, man. I thought, “I’m going to go big.”
Gronk told Fortune that his first stock buy was a $69,000 investment in Apple.
For years after that, the renowned NFL tight end forgot about the stock.
Gronk remarked, “I forgot about it,”
“It s like two and a half years later, and the stock is worth like $250,000, so I sell off a portion of the $69,000 I bought in.”
Gronk’s remaining Apple stock is currently valued at over $600,000.
“All because of the investment I made in 2014, having no idea what I was doing but just listening to the man that built my house here in New England, so I appreciate that,” he stated.
Apple’s stock has increased by 23% in the past year alone.
Gronk’s paycheck is probably just going to get bigger as long as his stocks keep rising, but it’s nothing in comparison to what he makes in the NFL.
