Ryan Clark interrupts ESPN host to take shot at Stephen A. Smith after First Take star’s shock cameo on MNF
After Stephen A. Smith made a brief appearance on Monday Night Football, Ryan Clark shot him.
Smith appeared during an NFL altercation at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which was covered by ESPN.
The first Takestar watched the Baltimore Ravens play the Los Angeles Chargers from the stands.
He joined Monday Night Countdown before settling into a seat in one of the stadium’s upscale sections.
Smith was on the field alongside Marcus Spears, Jason Kelce, Clark, and Scott Van Pelt.
All of the crew selected their AFC showdown winners.

Additionally, Clark stopped Van Pelt’s conclusion to “ask Stephen A. a question.”
Before asking his ESPN co-star the question, Clark seemed to already know the answer.
“Where you sitting tonight, Stephen A?” “Said Clark.”
He went on, “Are you going to be in the stands?”
Stephen A. took a moment to answer.
“No,” he said meekly. “I’m in the owner’s suite.”
The revelation caused Kelce to turn away in laughing, and host Van Pelt gestured to his shoes.
When Van Pelt said, “Those shoes aren’t sitting in the stands,” he laughed.
When a First Take debate became personal, Smith’s day on the network was filled with events.
He was discussing the Dallas Cowboys with Shannon Sharpe, his show sparring partner.
Whether the legendary Bill Belichick could succeed Mike McCarthy as head coach of the Cowboys was the topic of conversation.
Stephen A. Smith’s journey through media
Stephen A. Smith began working for ESPN in 2003 and is currently the company’s spokesperson and executive producer of First Take.
Smith has worked for the network in a number of capacities, such as hosting radio programs, contributing to SportsCenter, and making appearances on NBA Countdown.
From 1994 to 2010, he wrote columns for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Prior to becoming a general sports columnist, he worked as an NBA writer.
Smith had previously been a reporter for the New York Daily News, the Greensboro News, and the Winston-Salem Journal.
Because of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Sharpe and colleague Tedy Bruschi don’t think the New England Patriots legend would be hired.
Neither of the two former football players agreed with Smith.
This resulted in Sharpe’s forceful response.
The words “now you know more football,” came from Sharpe. “Go ahead, OK.”

Smith attempted to defuse the situation while appearing visibly surprised.
“Shannon, hurry up,” Smith replied. I didn’t claim to know more about football than you did. Put an end to that. Put an end to that. I haven’t said that before.
