“Sad News!” Police Uncover Body Of Kidnapped Mother In Tampa
TAMPA, Florida –
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Tampa Police worked together to find the body of a lady who was thought to be Sylvia Pagan.
“The Medical Examiner’s Office must establish identification before it can proceed. The official cause of death will also be ascertained, according to Tampa Pd.
To Slyvia Pagan’s disappearance, Jovanni Caceres Steffani, 38, was the only person of interest. It was thought that no additional subjects were involved.
The Missing & Endangered Alert has been revoked in light of the discovery.

For Sylvia Pagan, 34, who was linked to an earlier Amber Alert, Tampa Police issued a Missing & Endangered Alert.
A 9-year-old Tampa child was reported missing, and an AMBER alert was issued early on Monday morning. She and her mother, Sylvia Pagan, 34, were believed to have been abducted.
The 9-year-old girl was found early on Monday, but her mother remained unaccounted for.
Steffani was found in Suwannee County, according to the police, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound just before 2:00 a.m. on May 13, 2024. The mother of the kid, Sylvia Pagan, has not been traced.
The Tampa Police Department stated, “We are deeply concerned for Sylvia Pagan’s overall well-being as detectives diligently work to locate her.”
On Sunday, May 12, 2024, at around 10:00 a.m., Sylvia Pagan was last seen in the 10400 block of Altman Street.
