San Francisco 49ers star Jauan Jennings escapes punishment for fight which led to ejection despite rival being fined
After two separate altercations against the Arizona Cardinals, 49ERS star Jauan Jennings escaped harsh punishment.
Two weeks ago, the Cardinals defeated the 49ers 47-24 at State Farm Stadium to wrap out the season.
The 27-year-old Jennings became a highly contentious figure after getting into two heated altercations with the hosts.
After the two heavyweights collided in the second quarter, the San Francisco star got into a fight with Starling Thomas.
Sean Murphy-Bunting was the one who fought Jennings on the next play.
Both NFL stars were removed from the game as a result of the altercation.

Thomas, 24, was ultimately fined $5,083 (4,190) for needless roughness.
In contrast, Murphy-Bunting, 27, received a $11,817 ($9,739) punishment.
However, even though Jennings was sent off with only 25 yards remaining before reaching the 1,000-yard receiving milestone, he received no fine.
In his post-game interview, the wide receiver talked about the situation.
“The second one, just a normal pancake in a book of football,” Jennings stated.
“I knocked him to the ground and attempted to get up, but he refused to allow me.
“[He] simply continued to grasp my face mask and jersey as much as he could. I was just trying to get him off of me, so he could grab me with anything.”
