Schoolboy, 14, stabbed to death on bus in broad-daylight horror as manhunt launched for killer

A 14-year-old child was tragically stabbed on a bus this afternoon, prompting the start of a POLICE investigation.

At approximately 2:28 p.m., police were alerted to allegations of a stabbing on a bus in Woolwich, South-East London.

On Woolwich Church Road, close to the intersection of the A205 South Circular Road, an incident happened on a Route 472 bus.

In addition to officers, London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service were there.

A 14-year-old boy who had been stabbed was treated on the spot by paramedics, but he tragically passed away shortly after.

Road restrictions and police cordons are maintained as emergency services conduct investigations. At this early point, no arrests have been made.

At 2:28 PM on Tuesday, January 7, police received a complaint of a stabbing on a bus in Woolwich, SE18.

“The incident occurred on a Route 472 bus on Woolwich Church Road near the junction with the A205 South Circular Road.”
