(FOX 2) ROMULUS, Mich.The exit to the Detroit airport is currently closed after a semi truck driver lost control and flipped over on I-94 close to the airport.
According to Michigan State Police, the driver lost control of the truck at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday while it was traveling east on I-94.

After colliding with the center median railing, the motorist proceeded across the westbound lanes and down onto Merriman Road, according to the police.
At the scene, the driver was examined for minor wounds.
“This collision may have been far more serious. First Lt. Mike Shaw remarked, “We were fortunate that Merriman was clear of traffic at the time of the collision. “This is just one more reminder to drive at a reasonable and safe speed. Maintaining control of one’s car is the duty of every driver.
According to MSP, cleaning up the mess would take roughly two hours, and the freeway’s westbound exit is closed.
