Seth Rogen abruptly bleeped by Golden Globes censors in middle of raunchy joke about Ryan Gosling on stage
GOLDEN During tonight’s live broadcast, Globes producers had to quickly censor out a word that Seth Rogen whispered, and fans are eager to hear what he said.
When the actor appeared alongside Golden Globes winner Catherine O’Hara to present an award for female performer in a limited series or TV film, spectators were on edge.
Seth, 42, was abruptly bleeped out in the middle of a crude joke about Ryan Gosling, perhaps forgetting that live cameras were recording.
“I want to start by saying this angled camera thing is very weird,” the Knocked Up star said as he started his segment.
“It s inelegant it s strange, this while half the room can see my bald spot.”
Seth, a native of Vancouver, went on to say that he and Catherine, stars of Schitts Creek, are “much more acclaimed for our Canadian work.”
He then shifts the conversation to Ryan Gosling, another well-known Canadian, who served as the inspiration for his unfamily-friendly joke.
Catherine and Seth played off the not-safe-for-TV moment, but the joke went on despite the apparent blunder.
Viewers, however, did not miss the moment because many said they were eager to hear the comedian’s words.
They omitted Seth Rogen. One person said, “I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HE SAID.”
#SethRogen had a lengthy “bleep” there. Another observed that tonight’s @CBS censors are on duty.
